cPanel account has a mix of mdbox and maildir email accounts

While assisting a client in locating some old emails, I noticed that her email was in mdbox format. After looking at all of the other accounts (22 of them), I found another one that was also in mdbox format. All the rest are maildir. Any ideas on how to change those two to maildir format? cPanel version is 108. Thank you, Dan

  Not sure that I buy that mdbox is more modern. Well... I guess technically it's newer, so I guess that is more modern. Not sure that mdbox is better that maildir. We had one account using mdbox and it constantly had issues with writing to storage - I converted it to maildir like the rest of our accounts. Perhaps outside of our little hosting world, mdbox is more commonly used - but I think I'll stick to maildir.
