Import account with another username/domain

Hi,
i want to backup the cpanel account, and import it to another server with another domain name/username for test purposes. Is this possible?

  Hey there!  The short answer is not exactly.

  The longer answer is that you can manually restore the account on the command line to change the username at the time of the account creation using the details here:

  https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360055273673-How-to-Restore-an-Account-as-a-Different-User

  After that is done you could use the WHM >> Modify an Account page to change the main domain on the account.
