cPanel Forwarding to external servers not working
Hello everyone!
Writing here looking for some guidance.
Currently, I have a cPanel configure in a VPS I am able to connect to WHM. I've configured the DNS and I am able to send and receive emails. Issues started when I try to forwarding those emails to external SMTP (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud).
I am able to get a copy of the email in the mailbox it is failing during the forwarding.

Also, if I use the forwarders track delivery function, I am seeing that the external accounts have the message untraceable route to local delivery
According with this article https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/email/forwarders/
The folder icons should be a green globe indicating an external SMTP.
Email routing is set to Local Mail Exchanger.
I also activated SRS in Exim4, verified my DNS all the records are ok DMARC,SPF, DKIM
I am unable to reach the gmail SMTP server using any SMTP port 25, 465, 587
Also, tried to add a iptable rule to check connectivity, nothing work
# iptables -L -n

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)

Talking with my provider they found some bounce in the email logs, but I believe isn't related to the issue.
If I am missing something I hope you can guide me to the answer.
Thanks in advance.

Hey there! Can you try enabling this option to see if that changes the behavior of the forwarded messages?

Hi cPRex! Thanks for your reply!
As I mentioned, it’s already enabled, so I’m a bit stuck here.
I’m not sure what’s going wrong, but I’d appreciate any further guidance!0 -
Ah, sorry - I missed that line!
I'm not sure what else would make it think the messages are coming "from" somewhere else. Can you submit a ticket so this can be investigated?

This is my first time posting here, how can I open a ticket?

You can do that from WHM >> Create a Support Ticket. It will either direct you to us or your provider, depending on where your license was purchased.

My provider is GoDaddy, they're investigating, I will update the question if they can fix the issue.
