Next LTS Version
I've just setup a new VPS running cPanel 130. As we are in between LTS releases, I understand that we cannot choose the LTS tier until the next one is released. When do you expect the next LTS release to be available?

See here:
When you install cPanel you can select LTS release to be installed.

Thanks, our VPS came preinstalled with a version newer than the LTS so we don't have any choice right now. I was just curious as we will likely plan to switch to the LTS tier at the next opportunity. From that link it looks like January is the usual release window.

LTS usually happens in Q1 of each year, so we'd expect this to be in place my march of 2026. The next LTS will be version 134.

cPRex If I understand correctly (https://www.cpanel.net/blog/announcements/introducing-cpanel-whm-version-134/), version 134 is now the LTS version? I currently have it held on 130.0.16 but I would like to transition to the LTS. Are there any concerns with going directly from 130.0.16 to the latest version of 134 or would you advise an incremental update?
The following issues came up in a quick Google search which seem a bit concerning:

alanstar - the update process will actually move through the versions incrementally if necessary, so that isn't something you need to worry about.
The first issue you mentioned there has a workaround and the second is more of an annoyance than something that's actually broken. I would say in the grand scheme of functional problems, these are both minor issues that will be addressed soon.

Thanks, I will go through the changelogs before proceeding but is there a list of known issues that I should be aware of (between 130 and 134)?

Not that I know of - most users just update automatically with no problems.

That has been my experience too, but I prefer to do it manually and be cautious...

Nothing wrong with that!
