Hey there!  What version of cPanel is that DNSOnly system running?  This is a recent issue we're tracking at https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/41175199405463-Dynamic-DNS-reporting-incorrect-IP-address but I'm expecting it to be resolved in the latest update.

Do you even test your updates at this point?

Kyle Klotz updated the case id CPANEL-53986 and stated that the issue has been resolved at 12/06 on the following versions:

    • 11.136.0.23 and higher
    • 11.134.0.40 and higher
    • 11.126.0.73 and higher
    • 11.110.0.130 and higher

But the issue persists. Multiple machines with different OS running latest version of cPanel still fail to report the correct IP address and logging:

I did reach out to the team abut this and we're expecting the issue to be fixed at this point.  Could you create a ticket so we can examine one of the affected systems?

cPRex just tried to open a ticket but I get "Invalid or Unlicensed IP Address" for our DNS Only server so can't move forward after that mate. It's only affecting our DNS Only server.

Since it's a DNSOnly system you can just email cs@cpanel.net and they should be able to help you get started with the support process.

"The message can safely be ignored , but if  you wish to remove it, you can disable the service that is generating it. The service is cphttpd and it is not needed for DNSonly server and will not cause issues with accessing WHM on the DNSonlys server."

You can find the steps to disable it from the article here -> How do I disable cphttpd?

Please pass on thanks to CP Vladimir.
