Symptoms
Dynamic DNS is reporting the incorrect IP address and the following warning is logged to the cPanel error log when the curl request is made.
# [2026-06-12 15:17:33 +0000] warn [cpaneld] proxy trust miss: replacing loopback HTTP_HOST with 10-2-35-113.cprapid.com
Cause
This appears to be caused by a conflict with internal proxying of localhost (127.0.0.1) with cpsrvd controlled interfaces. We have opened an internal case with our developers with case ID CPANEL-53986 to review this behavior further.
Resolution
This has been resolved as of the following cPanel versions:
- 11.136.0.23 and higher
- 11.134.0.40 and higher
- 11.126.0.73 and higher
- 11.110.0.130 and higher
Your server will automatically update to the relevant version as part of the nightly maintenance script. To manually start updates, please see the following:
