You have to go into e-mail routing configuration and set the domains that use an external mail server to remote mail exchanger.

Check out AutoMysqlBackup. Or use the cPanel backup system which does dump the databases as part of its backup routine.

Personally, I would not use straight up mail. for the domain, though its certainly legal to do so.

For the past couple weeks we"ve seen intermittent problems with getting the cPanel sectigo certs. Might consider switching to LetsEncrypt.

Not sure about login forms but goofles has been breeched by bots on contact forms and we switched to hcapcha and it's stopped.

If you have a different folder name for it suck as /backup/myotherbackups then the cPanel backup system will ignore it.
