Symptoms
A feature, such as "File Manager" or "Mailing Lists," is missing for an account when it is enabled in the feature list the account uses.
Description
There are multiple potential causes for this. The steps below will correct the most common causes.
Workaround
- Access the server's command line as the 'root' user via SSH or "Terminal" in WHM.
- Navigate to "Home / Packages / Edit a Package."
- Select the account's package from the "Package" list.
- Click the "Edit" button.
- Scroll down to the "Settings" section.
- Select the intended feature list from the "Feature List" dropdown menu.
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
- Navigate to "Home / Packages / Feature Manager."
- Select "disabled" from the "Manage feature list" dropdown menu.
- Click the "Edit" button.
- Locate the missing feature.
- If it is selected, deselect it.
- Click the "Save" button.
- Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / Server Profile."
- Click the information icon (i) for the selected profile.
- Verify that the missing feature is listed.
Please note that the "Standard" profile is the only profile that supports all features. - Navigate to "Home / Service Configuration / Service Manager."
- If the feature requires a service (such as "Mailing Lists" requiring "Mailman"), ensure the feature is enabled.
- Click the "Save" button.
