FTP Configuration File button returns "An invalid domain name was passed" error

Symptoms

When clicking the “FTP Configuration File" button under "Configure FTP Client", the following error is shown.

An invalid domain name was passed

An error like the following is logged to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log.

CONFIG_TEXT: warn [coreftpsetup] CPUSER domain name must have a valid TLD label
warn [coreftpsetup] Invalid domain name passed.

CONFIG_TEXT: warn [cyberducksetup] domain name element FTPUSER@CPUSER does not conform to requirements
warn [cyberducksetup] Invalid domain name passed.

Cause

This appears to be due to the FTP username being passed instead of the domain.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-54007. Once further action is taken on this topic, it will be listed in our changelog with this ID.

Where can I locate the cPanel changelogs?
