Deprecation plan for CentOS 7, CloudLinux 6 and 7, and RHEL 7.
Starting with v112 of cPanel, a blocker will prevent an upgrade or installation of cPanel if your server runs CentOS 7, CloudLinux 6 and 7, and RHEL 7.
You will be presented with the error:
E Blocker found: Newer releases of cPanel & WHM are not compatible with your operating system.
Upgrade your OS, or use the Update Preferences screen to select a Long-Term Support release for use with your OS.
cPanel & WHM 11.112.0.3 supports AlmaLinux 8/9, CloudLinux® 8, Rocky Linux™ 8/9, Ubuntu 20 only.

As noted in the cPanel deprecation plan version 110, this was the last version to support CentOS 7, CloudLinux 6 and 7, and RHEL. There have been recent changes to the End-of-Life policy for CentOS and CloudLinux 7 that you can read about here:

If you would like to use the newer versions of cPanel, we encourage you to migrate to an AlmaLinux OS 8 or Rocky Linux™ 8 server.

If you are running CentOS 7 or CloudLinux 7, you can elevate to AlmaLinux 8 or CloudLinux 8, respectively. Otherwise, it would be best to use the transfer tool to migrate to a new server.

If you are running CloudLinux 7, version 33 of the cPanel Elevate script has been updated to support CloudLinux.
