Sitejet: Captcha image does not appear

Symptoms

When attempting to complete a Captcha on a site published via Sitejet, the challenge image does not appear.

Description

The Captcha page requires an active SSL as well as a local copy of the Sitejet API to ensure it can operate successfully. 

Workaround

• Ensure that the site is using a version of PHP 7.1, 8.1 or higher:

• Ensure the package "cpanel-sitejet-plugin" is the latest available version:

• The site will need an active SSL to properly serve the Captcha content. You can issue an SSL for free using AutoSSL:

• Verify the presence of Sitejet's "api.php" file in the document root folder. You can use the file manager to view the contents of your domain:

If all of these conditions have been satisfied, this issue can often be corrected by republishing the site from Sitejet. If the site has been republished and you continue to see issues, please open a ticket with our Technical Support department for further review.
