Elevate blocker "unsupported YUM repo 'alt-common'"

Symptoms

Packages installed from the alt-common repository are leading to a blocker when attempting to use the cPanel elevate script.

Description

The list of supported repositories within the cPanel elevate script are manually validated by our Elevate developers, this repository needs to be reviewed by our team at this time.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-48101. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product. 

Workaround

The packages from the alt-common repository will need to be removed before Elevate can proceed.
