Symptoms
Attempting to create an account or navigating to List Accounts results in the interface continuously loading.
Description
If you have a system using a remote filesystem mount (for example, NFS, CIFS, smbfs, or other types of network drive systems) that may become unresponsive, certain functions of the cPanel & WHM interface may become affected as well.
Most commonly seen is during the account creation process or when attempting to view the list of accounts, the process will eventually hang when attempting to interact with the unresponsive remote mount.
A simple method to determine if the remote mount is unresponsive includes running the "df" command. If the command hangs and does not provide any output, it will likely be stuck when attempting to read from the unresponsive remote mount.
Workaround
To resolve the problem, the issues with the unresponsive remote mount will need to be addressed to ensure it is responsive again.
Alternatively, the remote mount may be temporarily removed to allow these tasks to complete without issue.
