Why was Jetbackup reinstalled after it was removed?

Answer

The nightly cPanel updates perform a check to see if there is an active Jetbackup license and will install the software automatically if detected. If you wish to prevent Jetbackup from being installed, you can create the following touch file to disable this.

touch /var/cpanel/disable_auto_jb
