Introduction
As a WHM root user administrator, you may have many cPanel accounts to manage, some which may require different levels of access and features.
This is why the cPanel & WHM software offers the tools and customization options to allow you to disable certain features or functionality from the cPanel accounts of your choice.
Procedure
Navigate to: WHM >> Packages >> Feature Manager
From here you can edit an existing Feature List
or create a new one (Please note, not to use the disabled
Feature List as detailed here.). Feature lists are the set of features that a cPanel account will have access to. These lists can then be assigned to a package so that you can assign these to a group of users.
The features that you select in the feature list will be the ones to remain enabled. If a feature is unselected and thus disabled, it will also disable and remove the feature icon completely from the cPanel account.
For example, if you wish to offer a package that has no mail access, you can unselect all the Email related features on the list and these options will no longer be available for the user in the cPanel account interface.
For a full list of all the available selectable features, please refer to the documentation here.
