How-To Disable Email from cPanel Interface

Introduction

For those that want to remove the ability for users to create email addresses and any form of interaction with the email services on the server, the following steps will need to be performed.

Procedure

In order to remove email from the cPanel for your users, you will need to modify or create a new feature list and assign it to the package for the users or make a new package and assign it to the users:

• Default Address
• Email Accounts
• Email Archiving
• Email Deliverability (Authentication)
• Email Delivery Route (deprecated)
• Email Disk Usage
• Email Domain Forwarding
• Email Filtering Manager
• Email Trace
• Forwarder Manager
• Mailing Lists
• PGP/GPG
• Webmail

Please note that changes to feature lists will take effect immediately.
