How to adjust the CloudLinux LVE limits through WHM

If your server is running CloudLinux with LVE and CageFS, how do you set limits for the packages for your users?

Answer

The LVE limits for a user can be configured in WHM from the Users tab on Home / Server Configuration / CloudLinux Manager. CloudLinux has some basic recommendations on what to set for a package.

Typical Hosting Account

• SPEED=100%
• PMEM=512MB
• VMEM=0
• IO=1024KB/s
• IOPS=1024
• NPROC=100
• EP=20

High-end Hosting Account

• SPEED=200%
• PMEM=1GB
• VMEM=0
• IO=4096KB/s
• IOPS=1024
• NPROC=100
• EP=40
