Introduction
You may wish to remove MySQL Governor, a CloudLinux LVE Feature. Is there a method to do so?
Procedure
Yes, it is possible to remove MySQL Governor if required. We strongly urge you to back up your MySQL databases before starting this procedure.
MySQL Backups With mysqldump
Once MySQL backups have been generated, you can remove MySQL Governor using the steps below:
1. Log into your server via SSH as 'root'. Or use the WHM: Terminal Feature.
2. On the command line, run the following command:
/usr/share/lve/dbgovernor/mysqlgovernor.py --delete
The script will install the original MySQL server and remove MySQL Governor.
