Attempting to transfer or restore an account reported the below error during the process:
[ 52301][RESTORE:1 ][A:cptest ]: Warning (“Session::
exec_with_output_directed_to_fh”, line 674):
Transfer queue RESTORE process 52301
consumes excess memory (RSS=5282376 KiB);
The memory limit was reached while processing the item “cptest” with
name “Account” of type “AccountLocal”; This process
will end and a new processor will take over if there is still work to do
Description
Restoring cPanel accounts that contain a large number of databases and database users can cause the restore process to use a lot of memory. Using an excessive amount of memory can trigger a memory limit in cPanel. After the memory is exhausted, some database transactions for the restore will fail.
We have an internal case open with our developers for this issue. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-47710. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
The databases and database users will need to be restored from the backup manually in the event of failure.
