How to generate a backup of my entire cPanel account from the cPanel interface

Answer

You may use the following procedure to generate a full backup of all of the data in your cPanel account. 

1. Login to cPanel
2. Click on the Backup icon which is under the Files section

3. Click the blue-button that says Download a full account backup

   

4. Select Home Directory as the destination
5. Enter your email address so that you can get a notification when the backup is complete
6. Click the blue-button that says Generate Backup
7. Wait for the notification

Your backup will be stored in the home directory of the cPanel user.
