How to create a cPanel account

How do you create a cPanel account?

Answer

cPanel accounts must be created before they can be used. This is done from the WHM interface.

1. Log in to WHM as the root user.
2. Navigate to Home / Account Functions / Create a New Account.
3. Enter the new account's domain name in the Domain textbox.
4. Enter the username for the new account in the Username textbox.
5. Enter a password for the new user in the Password and Re-type Password textboxes.
6. Enter the user's contact email address in the Email textbox.
7. Select a package for the account from the Choose a Package dropdown menu.
8. Click the Create button at the bottom of the page.
