How to install and enable cPanel's LSPHP handler

Introduction

LSAPI provides a fast and stable way to serve PHP applications. cPanel & WHM’s version of LSAPI differs from the one that CloudLinux provides.

Please note, to utilize this handler’s full functionality, your system must run CloudLinux. Additionally, cPanel LSAPI is not currently available on Ubuntu systems. 

Procedure

Install the ea-apache24-mod_lsapi.x86_64 package by running the following command via SSH:

yum install ea-apache24-mod_lsapi.x86_64

After the package is installed, go to WHM "Home / Software / MultiPHP Manager" and under the "PHP Handlers" section, select the LSAPI handler for the desired PHP version(s).
