Why can’t I login with my cPanel Subaccount?

Why can't I log in to cPanel with the subaccount I created via "cPanel / Preferences / User Manager"?

Answer

Subaccounts are not able to login to cPanel directly. Only the root user, resellers, or cPanel users have access to the cPanel interface. Subaccounts can only access FTP, Web Disk, and Email. 

cPanel version 112 introduced the "Manage Team" feature to allow the creation of team user accounts so that multiple users can access, administer, and work on a single cPanel account without the security risk of sharing credentials. 

The Manage Team feature is currently only available for Premier, Autoscale, and development cPanel licenses.
