How to disable a mod_security rule / rule set globally

Introduction

ModSecurity can sometimes block legitimate requests to your website, and you may need to disable the rule blocking the request. 

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Security Center / ModSecurity Tool."
3. Click the "Rules List" button.
4. Enter the Rule ID to disable (i.e., 920440) in the search box.
   Please note that you can locate the Rule ID by checking the Apache error log located at /var/log/apache2/error_log.
5. Click the magnifying glass.
6. Click the "Disable" button.
