How do I verify an installation succeeded?

How can I check that all the installation has been done correctly and that the status of things is correct?

/var/log/cpanel-install.log is accessible from the Terminal interface in WHM and includes the complete log of the cPanel & WHM installation. Review the last few entries in this log file to verify the installation succeeded. Here's the command you can use from Terminal in WHM:

# tail -10 /var/log/cpanel-install.log

Here's an example of what you will see if the installation completed successfully:
