Question
How do I open a port in the Imunify360 firewall?
Answer
With Imunify360, adding a port is different depending on which mode is enabled.
Imunify360 has two modes:
- All open, except specified
- All close, except specified
The port settings change depending on the blocking mode.
(Blocking Mode) All open
Note: This mode blocks a port using this method.
- Navigate to "WHM Home / Imunify360 / Firewall / Ports".
- Click the "Add" button.
- Enter your port, any related comments, and click "Add Port".
(Blocking Mode) All closed
Note: The interface has changed to display port settings instead of individual TCP/UDP lists. This section also has a tab for IPv4 and IPv6, as they are kept separately.
- Navigate to "WHM Home / Imunify360 / Firewall / Ports".
- Scroll down to the TCP/UDP inbound/outbound settings.
- Enter the desired port either in TCP/UDP inbound to allow incoming connections, or in TCP/UDP outbound to allow outgoing connections.
