Introduction
Follow the steps listed below to reset the administrator password for WHMCS.
Procedure
- Navigate to the WHMCS admin login page.
- Click the "Forgot your password?" link.
If you do not see the "Forgot your password?" link, follow the steps listed below.
- Log into cPanel.
- Navigate to phpMyAdmin.
- Select the WHMCS database.
- Select the table named "tblconfiguration."
- Click edit next to "DisableAdminPWReset."
- Ensure the value is blank.
- Click "Go" to save the change.
- Navigate to the WHMCS admin login page.
- Click the "Forgot your password?" link.
If you experience issues with receiving the password reset email, follow the steps listed below.
- Log into cPanel.
- Navigate to phpMyAdmin.
- Select the WHMCS database.
- Select the table named "tbladmins."
- Click "edit" next to the user you want to reset the password for.
- In the password field, remove the current text and input a new password.
- In the drop-down menu next to the password field, select "MD5."
- Click "Go" to save the change.
- Navigate to the WHMCS admin login page.
- Click the "Forgot your password?" link.
