How do you increase the maximum execution time in cPanel and Webmail?

Answer

Sometimes specific actions such as uploading files may need more time then the default 90 seconds allotted to be completed. In these instances, increasing the maximum execution time can prevent timeouts while performing the action.

1. Log in to WHM as the 'root' user
2. Navigate to Home / Server Configuration / Tweak Settings
3. Set cPanel PHP max execution time to your desired value:
