Symptoms
When setting a cPanel account to use the Jupiter theme, custom plugins and integration links are missing from the interface.
Description
Currently, third-party plugins and integrations are not automatically installed in Jupiter. For these plugins, it is intentional behavior that Jupiter will not contain custom third-party plugins unless reinstalled again for the new theme. To resolve this, your custom plugins will need to be installed again, using the script: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_plugin
Workaround
In order for your custom plugins to be shown in the Jupiter theme, you will need to run the "install_plugin" script but specify the value for --theme=jupiter
in your command. Here is an example below:
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_plugin /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous/softaculous_plugin.tar.bz2 --theme=jupiter
For more information on how to add the plugins, you can find our documentation on the /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_plugin
script here:
