Symptoms
When you access "List Accounts" in WHM, you receive an error similar to the following.
(XID djqsew) The system failed to rename “/etc/.tmp.15466.shadow.nouids.cache” to “/etc/shadow.nouids.cache” because of an error: Permission denied at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Autodie/CORE/rename.pm line 29.
Description
The third-party application, McAfee, prevents the server from creating anything starting with /etc/shadow.
Workaround
You will have to remove the McAfee application.
