LiteSpeed installation error :: Memory limited license cannot be used on server with more than 8GB memory.

Symptoms

You are unable to install or activate Litespeed Webserver, and you see an error similar to the following:

2023-01-01 00:00:00 [ERROR] [T0] [LICENSE] License key operation failure: ERR LR.R: Memory limited license cannot be used on server with more than 8GB memory. 
**ERROR** Invalid license key, abort!

Description 

The Litespeed Webserver software licenses are limited by a maximum memory capacity on the server. The base license is limited to servers 8Gb or under. A server licensed with an 8Gb license that exceeds that capacity will receive an error when trying to install, activate, or update the Litespeed software.

Workaround

You should cancel your existing Litespeed 8Gb license and purchase a Litespeed Unlimited license, which has no memory limit. You can purchase the new license through the cPanel store here:
