Symptoms
All websites on the server show 404 errors, and entries similar to the following appear in the Apache error log.

Description
Enabling the "EXPERIMENTAL: Jail Apache Virtual Hosts using mod_ruid2 and cPanel® jailshell" option can cause unexpected 404 errors.
Workaround
- Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
- Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / Tweak Settings."
- Select the "Security" tab.
- Scroll down to the "EXPERIMENTAL: Jail Apache Virtual Hosts using mod_ruid2 and cPanel® jailshell" option.
- Set the option to "Off."
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click the "Save" button.
