I want to set up a new server, and I want to install the next LTS version, so I'm prepared when that version is graduated to LTS. When is the next LTS version, and what version is it?

Answer

In general, the lifespan of each release ends 6 months after the most recent LTS release is promoted to the RELEASE tier.
