Show Current Disk Usage generates diskusage.cgi messages in cPanel error_log

Symptoms

Going to Home » System Health » Show Current Disk Usage generates messages in the cPanel error log, but no errors are displayed in WHM.

[Sun Feb 13 02:18:02 2022] diskusage.cgi: Argument "sda" isn't numeric in numeric eq (==) at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/diskusage.cgi line 247.
[Sun Feb 13 02:18:02 2022] diskusage.cgi: Argument "dm-1" isn't numeric in numeric eq (==) at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/diskusage.cgi line 247.
[Sun Feb 13 02:18:05 2022] diskusage.cgi: Argument "dm-1" isn't numeric in division (/) at /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/diskusage.cgi line 191.

Description

The diskusage.cgi messages started being logged in cPanel version 11.100. Previous versions of cPanel do not generate any messages, which is the expected behavior. Show Current Disk Usage functions properly despite the messages being generated in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log.

We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-39987. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product. 

Workaround

The diskusage.cgi messages can be ignored.
