How to change PHP version for a domain?

Introduction

Below describes the process of changing a PHP version in WHM and cPanel.

Procedure

WHM:

1. Log in to WHM 
2. Under Software, click MultiPHP Manager
3. Select User Domain Settings
4. Make a note of your current version!
5. Select an updated version of PHP and click Apply
6. Visit your site to confirm that the change has not broken your site.
7. If the site is broken, you can switch back to the previous PHP version

cPanel:

1. Log into cPanel
2. Under Software click MultiPHP Manager
3. Make a note of your current version!
4. Select an updated version of PHP and click Apply
5. Visit your site to confirm that the change has not broken your site.
6. If the site is broken, you can switch back to the previous PHP version
