Custom LogFormat prevents domlogs and Awstats from being updated

Symptoms

After configuring custom log formatting for Apache, the domlogs log files and Awstats are no longer updated.

Cause

Splitlogs and Awstats require a specific log format. If the defined LogFormat is incorrect, Splitlogs will not update the domlogs, and Awstats will not see valid logs.

Resolution

1. Log in to WHM as root
2. Navigate to Home / Service Configuration / Apache Configuration
3. Click on Global Configuration
4. Set LogFormat (combined) to the default option
5. Set LogFormat (common) to the default option
6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page
