Symptoms
When attempting to install a new blog using WP Toolkit, the installation fails with the following errors:
`Your hosting plan does not allow you to create any more databases. This WordPress installation will use an existing database instead of creating a new one.
Failed to get installation parameters of a WordPress website: Unable to find user 'wh' in '/etc/passwd' file
Description
This error will occur if the cPanel account that owns the domain is assigned to a reseller that does not exist.
Workaround
Assign the cPanel account ownership to a different reseller, or to the root user.
- Log into the WHM interface as the root user
- Navigate to "Home / Resellers / Change Ownership of Multiple Accounts,"
- This screen lists all of the reseller users present on the server and the root user. Select the account that you wish to own the domains generating the error. If you are not sure which to pick, select "root" and click "Submit."
- From the next screen, select the accounts you wish to assign to the new owner. This should be the accounts that own the domains on which you see the WP Toolkit errors.
- Click "Change Owner of Selected Accounts" to apply the changes.
