102 EDGE Version new whm theme
Hi
When I installed the 102 edge version for testing, I saw that the whm theme changed and I didn't like it at all.
Will we be able to use the old whm theme in version 102?

I already get an X when I mouse over or when I start to type in chrome browser
You are absolutely right, the X is there for me on Chromium Linux as well, good eye. So far I'm only seeing the problem of Firefox, even tried a clean install but no joy. Don't use windows so can't test that. Is it possible for you to check Firefox on your machine? Version 102.0.140 -

I will try Firefox and report back0 -

Firefox issue for sure does not work. either left search or right search no X0 -
Yeah, so far as we can tell it's just a nuance of how Firefox implemented input fields. We're likely going to manually implement that (x) behavior so that it's consistent across all browsers...but that's only the current thinking. Dev team is cranking on it right now so the resolution may change a bit as they work. 0 -

In Firefox this works for me : ALT+BACKSPACE to clear all text. CTRL+BACKSPACE to clear las word. (In case someone didn't know, it can be useful)0 -
missing the whole sidebar in Mozilla 75. It seems the css section is not loaded according source page view. 0 -
@Mise - I use Firefox exclusively and haven't seen any issues on the various operating systems I use. Could you try a different machine or possibly clearing your cache? 0 -
I've searched "whm jupiter scrollbar" but see no reference. I've just tonight had the new theme foisted on me by my hosting provider and it has made one task nearly impossible. I compared side-by-side with another client's WHM. In paper lantern, the horizontal scrollbar was fixed to the bottom of the screen, not to the bottom of the page, as it is now. In "List Account" view, you can't scroll to the side to see all columns without first scrolling to the bottom of the page, scrolling right, and then scrolling up. Aaarghh! I typically have at least 30 accounts listed at a time, so it forces this crazy behaviour. The problem's exacerbated by the additional 40px or so width in the left sidebar. 0 -
@vicm - I replied to another user about this issue just a bit ago here: Can you let me know what your ideal solution to that would be? 0 -

What version are you using?. In this portion of the source code of the webpage, the #shadow-root don't appears. This appears in Chrome. I believe it belongs to JS YUI libraries. It seems from that JS execution the sidebar is loaded.
I know the browser is not new although the previous WHM worked perfectly. I believe the YUI 2.9.0 of this new WHM is compatible with old browsers, I suppose it should work. Hope it helps0 -
@vicm - I've created a case with our developers to look into the horizontal scroll bar behavior. It's CPANEL-40665. @Mise - I'm using Firefox 100.0.1. If you are correct and you are on version 75, that was released over two years ago. 0 -
Please can WHM expand the content boxes in the sub sections to fill the space, currently about 20 percent of the screen space (vertically) is empty and this is especially inconvenient when the content box could fit on the screen without needing to scroll if expanded to fit the browser space. image for example: 0 -
@martin MHC - I don't have hardly any empty space on my personal machine. Could it be your monitor's resolution? 0 -

Excuse me, are you editing or did you create the themes in the notebook? Here even the JetBackup plugin on the cell phone looks strange. I have a 25 inch monitor and I see the same image he showed. It is not only this, there are other fields like this.0 -
@DELTA SERVERS iNC - you have to use JetBackup 5 with Jupiter, as version 4 isn't compatible. 0 -

I don't use version 4 but version 5 on all the servers we manage.0 -
I'd rather keep this discussion focused on cPanel and WHM itself rather than any addons, but maybe @antonJetApps has some ideas on that layout issue. 0 -

I'm interested in that. Maybe a new thread?0 -

Hi @cPRex @DELTA SERVERS iNC @stormy, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I'll keep it brief to stay on topic, we were able to replicate this on our end and have opened up an issue to address the mobile layout in JetBackup 5. Thank you.0 -
Thanks, @antonJetApps !!!!! 0 -

Same here, we can't see jetbackup under "plugin".. work fine but we cannot see settings on WHM we CANNOT use v.5 because haven't function in use at this time so? resolution?0 -
OMG other server, same WHM/cPanel versione, jetbackup v.4 show under plugin .. ?? how to solve? we need to check "all" servers??? 0 -
@webstyler - can you let me know the cPanel version of each machine? 0 -
2 months have passed since my last interaction Jupiter remains the same theme without access to customizations. 2 months and no useful update, 104 is a shame nor should it be considered an update. At least release the full documentation so we can customize Jupiter and fix this lousy work done by cpanel. 0 -

They are still busy patting themselves on the back thinking they"ve done a good job looks like the dev did a mornings work adding search back into whm nav bar, then tacked the load onto the end of the new header not sure what else the icons in Jupiter Cpanel look like 1980s 2 colour line drawings!0 -
