id.cpanel.net and all the rest of your logins
Ever since cPanel started using webpros, logins take forever due to all the redirecting and repeated login screens. That's an issue, and may be related to this complaint.
We want to take a look at licensing options, particularly the auto scale licensing. The link to manage2.cpanel.net on all of the pages in the 'community' posts continuously tries to redirect without ever landing on the page, although sometimes it lands on a not authorized page.
Tried another browser and got this:
Error 1015
Ray ID: 91cc9e75deee659c • 2025-03-07 19:49:56 UTCYou are being rate limited
What happened?
The owner of this website (id.cpanel.net) has banned you temporarily from accessing this website.
Fix your support pages; this is really ridiculous.

Hey there - we're tracking the login loop issues in case INTDEV-2065 so I've added your feedback there!

cPRex - Thanks for the info. Whoever's working on it should speed up a bit since we still can't get a login page for manage2.cpanel.net.

While the login loop issue is well known, I'm not seeing a general issue with access to Manage2 at this time. Have you been able to try from a different connection?

The link to manage2 in this page is indicative of the constant redirects:
https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/14151337781911-Available-Partner-packages-in-Manage2
This link (https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500011418781-Autoscale-License-Packages) comes up with this:
oops
You're not authorized to access this page

Both of those are working normally for me when I checked just now (outside of the company VPN)

Actually, both links on https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/14151337781911-Available-Partner-packages-in-Manage2 end up with:
oops
You're not authorized to access this page

Are you able to try a different network or device?

UPDATE: I finally have an official word that the multiple login/loop issues are getting resolved. We'll be replacing the current cPanelID system with a WebProsID system that doesn't experience this issue. I don't have any ETA on when that work will be completed but work is underway and we've confirmed it fixes the issue across all the cPanel areas where a login is required.

That's good to hear, especially since I had to log in 4 times to access this post.
