How do you manually copy email between servers using an IMAP client?

You may need to move emails between two servers, and the Transfer Tool may not be the tool for the job. If the source account is not on a server compatible with Transfer Tool or you have other reasons to move the mail manually, you can use a third-party IMAP program like Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook as a workaround.
