"dovecot" and "sieve" folders visible in Roundcube due to .dovecot.sieve symlink

Symptoms

After creating a filter in Roundcube, I am seeing the folders "dovecot" and "sieve" listed in the folders list.

Cause

When a filter is created using RoundCube, a new .dovecot.sieve symlink is created in the user's mail directory. Due to the dot notation of this symlink, Roundcube is viewing this as two nested folders.

We have opened case CPANEL-52740 with our developers to review this behavior further. Any updates to this case will be added to our change logs.

There is currently no workaround.
