Symptoms
Saving the settings in Exim Configuration Manager generates an incomplete /etc/mailhelo that contains only one wildcard entry, as below. This can cause email delivery issues for domains using a secondary IP to send email.
# cat /etc/mailhelo;echo
*: host.domain.tld
Description
The cause for this is not yet known.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-52716. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
The /etc/mailhelo file can be manually updated.
