Question
I received the below email after CloudLinux was removed from my server, how do I uninstall it correctly?
CloudLinux Manual Installation Needed on: 1-2-3-4.cprapid.com
cPanel & WHM detected a CloudLinux license on the server “1-2-3-4.cprapid.com”. To install CloudLinux, you need to perform the following steps:
Execute the following command as the user “root”:
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/cloudlinux_system_install -k
After “cloudlinux_system_install” completes successfully, reboot the server.
You can rebuild your webserver stack with EasyApache.
Your cPanel & WHM server now runs on CloudLinux.
Answer
Most likely you removed CloudLinux incorrectly. You are receiving this email because our license check system has detected a CloudLinux license for your server's IP address and had provided you steps to install it.
If you would like to cancel the license, you will need to log into your store account at https://store.cpanel.net and cancel your CloudLinux license using the following steps:
1. Log in to your cPanel store account at https://store.cpanel.net with your username and password
2. Under Orders/Licenses, click on "View My Licenses"
3. Locate the license associated with the IP address you want to cancel with the drop-down menu
