Introduction
This guide will explain how to set up your cPanel-created email account in the Outlook 365 desktop app.
Procedure
- Open Outlook 365 and navigate to "Tools -> Accounts"
- Click the "+" (Plus) icon and add a New Account
- Enter your email address and proceed
- Select "Not Office 365" and select the IMAP option.
- For the Incoming Mail Settings, provide the following information:
Username Your full email address Password Your email account password Server mail.domain.tld (your domain) Port 993 Security Type SSL/TLS Authentication Normal Password - For the Outgoing Mail Settings, provide the following information:
Username Your full email address Password Your email account password Server mail.domain.tld (your domain) Port 465 or 587 Security Type SSL/TLS Authentication Normal Password - Select "Add Account" to finish
