Symptoms
Roundcube time outs instead of showing the inbox of the user.
Description
One of the reasons for this issue is blocked inbound port 2080 on your server. Port 2080 is used by
Calendars and Contacts in cPanel.
You can check if you are affected by this issue by inspecting the following log in the affected cPanel user's home directory:
/home/CPANELUSER/logs/roundcube/errors.log
If you are affected by the issue, you will see the following:
tail /home/CPANELUSER/logs/roundcube/errors.log
[07-May-2021 11:44:01 Africa/Cairo] Failed connect to 1.2.3.4:2080; Connection timed out
[09-May-2021 12:10:30 Africa/Cairo] Failed connect to 1.2.3.4:2080; Connection timed out
[23-May-2021 09:33:27 Africa/Cairo] Failed connect to 1.2.3.4:2080; Connection timed out

Workaround
Make sure that inbound TCP port 2080 is allowed in your firewall.
