How to change the email routing of a domain in WHM

Introduction

If you change the mail host of a domain already configured on your cPanel server, you must change the email routing so that mail is sent to the correct server.

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / DNS Functions / Email Routing Configuration."
3. Select the domain from the "Choose a Domain to Edit" dropdown menu.
4. Click the "Edit" button.
5. Select the "Local Mail Exchanger" or "Remote Mail Exchanger" option.
6. Click the "Save" button.
