How to change the email routing of a domain in WHM

Question

If you change the mail host of a domain already configured on your cPanel server, you must change the email routing so that mail is sent to the correct server.

Answer

1. Log into WHM as the root user.
2. Navigate to Home / DNS Functions / Email Routing Configuration.
3. Select the domain from the Choose a Domain to Edit dropdown menu.
4. Click the Edit button.
5. Select the Local Mail Exchanger or Remote Mail Exchanger option.
6. Click the Save button.
