500 error when accessing /cpanel, /webmail and /whm redirects on CloudLinux

Symptoms

When accessing /cpanel, /webmail, and /whm redirects on a server using CloudLinux and LVE memory limits I receive a 500 error. The following error is output via the server's system log:

Description

This is often caused by the memory limits of the user's LVE being too low. You can navigate to WHM / Server Configuration / CloudLinux LVE Manager to manage the memory limits.

Workaround

Increase or disable the PMEM limit within the LVE Manager for affected accounts:

1. Log in to WHM as the 'root' user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / CloudLinux Manager."
3. Select the "Packages" tab. This will allow you to view the CloudLinux limits for each package.
4. Click the pencil icon to the right of the package in the "Actions" column.
5. Modify or disable the settings as required.
6. Click the "Save" button.
