Question
Is ARC authentication supported in cPanel?
Answer
ARC (Authenticated Received Chain) is a method used to verify email authentication for forwarded messages, aiming to minimize the failure of forwarded messages when checking DKIM and SPF records. cPanel has Experimental support for ARC authentication starting with version 11.122; however, the feature is disabled by default.
ARC signing of emails can be enabled on Servers that have SPF and DKIM enabled globally, and have the ACL option "Allow DKIM verification for incoming messages" enabled. The inbound DKIM verification setting can be found within the WHM // Exim Configuration Manager interface. When this feature is enabled, the ARC headers get added to outbound emails.
