Symptoms
When importing or editing an event that contains certain characters, an error similar to the following is shown:
DAV Error (500): 11.128.0.14 "\x{00c3}" does not map to ascii at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/536/cpanel-lib/Email/MIME.pm line 281.Description
Non-ASCII characters in the event can be handled incorrectly, leading tho the error being generated.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-47938. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
The actions taken are still applied, so the error can be ignored.
