How do I transfer my license to another IP address?

In order to transfer an existing license to a new IP address, you will need to update the license IP address in the cPanel Store and update the license file on your server. 

Update license IP address

1. Log in to your cPanel Store account
   
2. Click Orders/Licenses and then View My Licenses in the top menu.
   
3. Locate the license IP address you wish to transfer and click on the product name.
4. Under Manage at the bottom Click on Edit IP Address
   
5. Enter the new IP address.
   
6. Click Edit IP Address

Update license file

The IP change will take effect immediately. You will need to update the license file on the server by running the following command via SSH as the root user:

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
